Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!!!

Well, our morning was greeted by the police officer, basically telling us we were liable to pay for the damages to this person's vehicle, HOWEVER, he found it completely AMAZING that Dozer isn't dead or in the vet's fighting for his life from the amount of damages to the vehicle.... So, needless to say we are contacting our attourney to fight this one. I have a gut feeling this guy probably was the one who killed the deer that was lying on the road a couple days ago and decided to try and get his vehicle fixed for free. Other than that, we are determined to have a good day and we are sooooo happy and relieved that if Dozer did actually get hit that he is okay. He has been in the house and other than a faint limp is totally fine. Not a scrape on him and he is walking around kissing Kenners and Kaden. I am going to take some pics of the kids a little later to post for Kaden's first Thanksgiving! Hope everyone enjoys their day and I will keep updating as the situation unfolds.... :)

Well this day went to hell in a handbasket....

Well, I am not happy to say the least... all was well until I went to make supper. I went out the back door to get some food out of the chest freezer when I found a pink piece of paper stuck in the door. I took it out and on one side it said "this property has been checked and deemed safe by Bayfield County Sheriff's Dept." So I am thinking what in the world happened??? I turn over the paper and it says "Please call regarding one of your dogs." Well, when me and Kenners and Kaden got home from work/daycare Dozer came out of his doghouse and walked up to us dragging his chain, so I figured he had just came undone and Damon would tie him when he got home in 1/2 an hour. He was his normal goofy self, so I never gave it a second thought. SO.... I call the sheriff's dept and talk to the dispatcher and the officer that was out to our house was off duty and wouldn't be back til tomorrow morning. She said she would look into the message and see what it was about. WELL here is the calamity... Evidently some stupid person is claiming that they hit Dozer in their TRUCK and they are saying that he smashed out their entire grill and headlights. There is just nooooo possible way that could happen and Dozer would be fine. He seems as though he may have been hit, he is a little sore on his shoulder and has about a 1/2" cut on the inside of his ear. I told the dispatcher this and she said that just didn't seem feasible for him to do that much damage and still be alive, let alone be tall enough to damage that part of a truck. Needless to say, I am freaking out, because nobody saw this happen and how are we going to prove otherwise??? Are we going to get sued right before Christmas???? I am thinking this idiot hit a deer or something and is trying to get it paid for... Well, I will post more tomorrow, the sheriff is supposed to call me in the morning.... Like I will be able to sleep.

Happy 2 month old Birthday Kaden!!!

Wow, life just passes by much to quickly these days, I cannot believe that Kaden is already 2 months old! It seems like he was just born... though I do NOT miss those extra 45 pounds he put on me while he was in there!!!! I cant believe on Monday he will be heading for daycare. Kimberly and Gramma Alice will be heading to Kansas City tomorrow to visit with Auntie Missy, Kimmers sure is excited! She has been acting like she is the cool one because she is going without us and we have to stick with the daily grind while she is having fun! Kenners was having great fun playing Bratz dolls with Kaden, so I thought we should share those pics! And we FINALLY caught a picture of him smiling on camera! Most of the time I stand over him with the camera he looks at me like I am from outer space... :D

Busy day today!

Well, we have parent teacher conferences tonight, lets hope those go well... I stopped at the clinic today to talk to the HR people and everyone was so happy to see Kaden and how big he has gotten.... I can't believe it myself! Well tomorrow he will be officially 2 months old and he weighed 14 pounds 12 ounces today at work!!!! Dr. McCue says I can just bring Kaden to work when I go back and he can stay in his office when I am busy! Everyone was happy to see that Kaders still has his baby mohawk too! A little bit of bad news today though, Daddy is going to have to go back over the road for a while :( That will take some getting used to again, but it should only be for a while, but this is the first time we will have to be without him for a whole month, usually he is home on the weekends... Oh well, I am glad that we have Dozer though, he eases my mind and he is WONDERFUL with the baby, so I think Dozey will be sleeping with me and Kaders!! Talk to you all soon and here are some more pics! The last one is of Dozer, Tater, and Maria, they all seem to think they have to nap together.... Too cute!

Here we go....

Well, I am finally trying my hand at starting a blog for our family! I hope it will be a good way for everyone to keep up with the goings-on at the Guski household! I am going to try and get on here everyday and post something! Kenners is going to her 3rd Nutcracker practice tonight, she is so excited, and of course she looks like a little doll! Kimberly is excited, this will be her third year participating in the Nutcracker and she loves that she and her cousin Kaylee can be in the same dances together, they also look like little dolls!!
